The latest roots/Lord of the Rings/earthy themed pipe.  The name comes from the thorny wreath around the rim, and from the shape of the bottom of the pipe.  The owner wanted a battered, worn look, with a shield ensnared by roots.  The emblem on the shield is of the owner’s design, and is actually modeled after the way J.R.R. Tolkien would sign his name.  This churchwarden pipe is around ten inches long, and has a polished carnuba wax finish.

  1. This has to be one of, if not my personal favorite. My only questions are, are pipes like this one for sale, and how does one come to buy them?

  2. I just came back to note that this is a great pipe. It smokes wonderfully and even my friends who want to see me stop smoking(boo) are very impressed with it. Thank you very much!
